Introduction
The BS Human Nutrition & Dietetics program at Chenab University of Science and Technology is designed to provide students with a strong foundation in food science, human nutrition, and health sciences. The program equips students with the knowledge and analytical skills required to critically evaluate modern and conventional concepts related to nutrition, diet, and overall well-being.
Through a comprehensive and multidisciplinary curriculum, students gain in-depth understanding of human nutrition, public health, and the role of dietary practices in disease prevention and health promotion. The program also emphasizes the impact of social, behavioral, and cultural factors on nutritional choices and health outcomes.
In addition to academic knowledge, students are trained to develop professional competencies, ethical practices, and practical skills necessary for careers in healthcare, community nutrition, and the food industry. The program prepares graduates to contribute effectively towards improving public health and promoting healthier lifestyles in society.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSSC) with Pre-Medical or equivalent with 50% marks
- SCPAHS recognized/valid aptitude test (NAT / MDCAT).
Documents to be submitted:
A candidate, who is eligible for admission, must submit attested copies of the following documents:
- SSC or equivalent foreign qualification certificate (Two copies).
- HSSC or an equivalent foreign qualification certificate (Two copies).
- SSC Result Card (Two copies)
- HSSC Result Card (Two copies)
- CNIC/Form B of the candidate (Two copies).
- CNIC of Father/Spouse/Guardian (one copy).
- Eight Recent Passport Size color Photographs.
- Photocopy of Domicile.
NOTE:
- It does not include the final year project, examination fees, and any traveling fees.
- All documents / transcripts will be checked at the time of admission.
- Any incorrect/false information submitted by the applicant or any attempt to hide information will lead to disqualification of the candidate.
